Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and best practices.
- Analyze security logs and monitor network traffic for suspicious activities.
- Perform digital forensic investigations when security incidents occur.
- Manage endpoint security solutions, firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare security reports, risk assessments, and incident documentation.
- Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
- Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
